Spring has finally arrived and we are looking forward to a fun month of learning about various spring events as we play games, sing songs, read books, and explore the outdoors.

Since the weather is unpredictable this time of year, we will not always know ahead of time whether or not we will go outside for a walk. Please make sure that your child has outdoor clothes (jacket, outdoor shoes/boots, hat, etc) at school each day, just in case. When the weather permits, we like to take the children outside. There is so much to see this time of year! Remember to label their clothing.

Many of the children will be going to JK in the fall. We have been working on self-help skills like putting on their own shoes, taking off all the winter clothes and hanging them up.

Parent Surveys: Thank you again to everyone who took the time to complete our parent survey. We have received lots of feedback and will are reviewing and compiling results. More updates from the survey will be given in the May Newsletter.

Autism Awareness: April is Autism Awareness month. This year “Light It Up Blue” for Autism falls on Tuesday, April 2nd. Light It Up Blue is an International Autism Awareness day. Thousands of iconic landmarks, skyscrapers, schools, businesses and homes across the globe unite by shining bright blue lights in honor of the millions of individuals and families affected by Autism across the world. On Tuesday, April 2nd bring your child to school dressed in blue to help promote awareness of Autism

On April 19th and April 22nd the preschool is closed for Easter.

Book orders are due April 24th, 25th and 26th. Please make cheques payable to Scholastic Canada Ltd or you can pay for your order online.
